For more than 26 years, I have worked hands-on in the swimming pool industry. My work has always centered on the jobs many companies avoid: leak detection, underwater repair, pressure testing, plumbing leak location, fiberglass repair, pool steps, skimmers, light niches, and complicated water-loss problems.

For more than 25 years, I owned and operated Pool Patch Pros. We built that company around one simple principle: find the problem, explain it clearly, and do the job right. Over those years, Pool Patch Pros earned a five-star reputation serving residential and commercial customers throughout the Carolinas.

After 26 years in the business, I sold Pool Patch Pros. The new owner chose not to continue the fiberglass repair side of the company. I had spent too many years developing those skills, tools, techniques, and customer relationships to walk away from that work.

That is why Step Doctors of the Carolinas was created.

Step Doctors focuses on professional fiberglass pool repair, including swimming pool steps, fiberglass pools, cracks, skimmers, light niches, structural fiberglass repairs, gelcoat restoration, and other specialized repairs.

The leak detection and underwater repair work now operates as Carolina Leak Reapers.

My family and I spend a lot of time along the Carolina coast, and we also work throughout the eastern part of the state. After seeing the number of residential pools, resorts, hotels, condominiums, HOAs, commercial pools, lazy rivers, waterslides, water features, and waterparks from the Piedmont to the Grand Strand, we expanded the service area.

Carolina Leak Reapers now serves Greensboro, Raleigh, Wilmington, Myrtle Beach, Charleston, South Carolina, and the surrounding East Coast Carolina region.

We bring more than 26 years of real-world leak detection and underwater repair experience to homeowners, property managers, hotels, resorts, and commercial facilities. That includes residential pools, commercial pools, spas, large bodies of water, resort properties, lazy rivers, waterslides, wave pools, and complex swimming pool plumbing systems.

Our work includes underwater leak detection, dye testing, plumbing pressure testing, underground plumbing leak location, sonar and electronic leak detection, underwater repairs, structural inspections, fiberglass repairs, and troubleshooting difficult water-loss problems.

We are not starting from scratch.

We are bringing 26 years of experience, specialized equipment, proven testing procedures, and the knowledge gained from thousands of swimming pool service calls.

The goal is simple: give property owners, homeowners, pool professionals, hotels, resorts, HOAs, and commercial facilities from Greensboro to Raleigh, Wilmington, Myrtle Beach, Charleston, and the East Coast Carolinas access to specialized leak detection and underwater repair from someone who has spent more than two decades doing this work.
